STUDENT POLICE CADET PROJECT.

 

As part of  the implementation of Student Police Cadet Project in schools in the state the government has decided to commence this project in 5 schools in Kannur district. ie.  1) GHSS, Pallikkunnu   (2) GHSS, Thottada  (3) Govt. Brennen  HSS,  Thalassery  (4) GHSS, Chavassery  and  (5) Shenoy Smaraka GHSS, Payyannur.  As an initial stage of action,  a district level workshop on  Student  Police Cadet Project was conducted on 12/07/2010 at Police Auditorium, Kannur  which was inaugurated by Sri. Sudhesh Kumar IPS, Inspector General of Police, Kannur Range, Kannur. Shri. K.V. Balakrishnan IAS, District Collector, Kannur,    K.K. Narayanan, President, District Panchayath, Kannur,  B.P. Farooque, Chairman, Kannur Municipality,  K. Karunakaran, Deputy Excise Commissioner, Kannur and   O.K. Sriraman, Dy Superintendent of Police, Crime Dettachment, Kannur  [ District Nodal Officer ]  were also present in the workshop.  Representatives from the schools concerned, Police, Education, Forest, Excise and , Motor Vehicle  departments were participated.
