REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION 2012.
63rd Republic Day was celebrated in colorful manner at Police Parade ground, Kannur. Sri. K P. Mohanan, Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture & Animal Husbandry , unfurled the national flag and accepted the salute. Platoons from police, Excise, Forest, NCC etc.. participated in the parade.
DENTAL CAMP.
The Kannur district police in association with Mahe Institute of Dental Science organized dental camp at Police Auditorium, AR Camp Kannur on 18/12/2011. The programme commenced at 0800 AM with the welcome speech by Sri. T.P. Unnikrishnan, Assistant Commandant. Sri. N. Babu, Deputy Commandant presided over the function. The programme was inaugurated by Sri. Anup Kuruvilla John IPS, District Police Chief, Kannur. Sri. Mathew . K J, Secretary, Kerala Police Association, Kannur offered the felicitation. Eminent doctors from institute took classes to the police personnel and lead the camp. Programme concluded at 13.00 Hrs.
TRAINING ON DRUG LAW ENFORCEMENT.
Narcotic Control Bureau, Chennai Zonal Unit has conducted one day training course on Drug Law Enforcement for the officers of Kannur district police on 07/01/2012 at Police Auditorium, AR Camp Kannur. The training commenced at 1000 AM and concluded at 1600 Hrs. 24 officers including DySPs, CIs and SI s were attended the training. Sri. Venugopal G Kurup, Superintendent, NCB, i/c Thiruvananthapuram took the class.
